An single cask single malt from the distillery on the island of Jura! This is an 8 year old whisky matured in a refill barrel from March 2008 to March 2016, when it was then independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Provenance range.
Nose: Well-spiced, a little bit toasty. A slight orange-sweetie sugary note develops.
Palate: Creamy butterscotch and toffee, Madeira cake and cinnamon.
Finish: Lemon and lime, with a little bit of sea salt for balance.
