Distilled in April 1989 at Bruichladdich, this 26 year old independent release from a single refill hogshead filled 225 bottles in September 2015. A well aged Islay malt from Douglas Laing's Extra Old Particular range.
Nose: Thick and reassuring. Flourless orange cake and fortune cookies.
Palate: More of the same with golden barley and fresh citrus adding to the mix.
Finish: Passion fruit, a touch of Fino Sherry and marmalade pudding.
